With my 01 gt, would i be able to beat a trans am? i raced a 94 ws6 and neither one of us pulled on each other up to about 120, but im not sure what he had done to it besides exhaust...i really wanna know about the 98-02 TA's

 

i forgot to mention...im supposed to be getting 3.73 gears and either headers ($$$) or an o/r x-pipe for xmas...if the mods i have now wont do it, will any of those do it?

 

There is no such thing as an 94 WS6. LT1(93-97) cars are basically even with a stock New Edge.

That being said you cannot beat a LS1 car with your mods. You're going to need the bottle for that

Well in theory if you could launch really well you "might" be able to take an A4 2.73 geared LS1. Anything other than that and it's not going to be a good time for you.

 

If you have a 5-speed, you'll lose. If you have an auto, you'll lose badly.

 

What the WS6 package has been around since the 70's

 

+1. If you don't have FI, full bolt ons, or control over the space time continuum your gonna get smacked up.

 

one of my goods friends (who i met racing on route 10) has a LS1 Trans Am and we have probly raced well over 15+ times he has a lid, intake, and a exhaust, all i have is slp loudmouhs axleback, off the line i have him(only because he spins through 1st, 2nd, 3rd) then the victory last only a short second as he slowly walks by at 60, then by 65 it looks like my car isnt moving

however, never nort race a car just because you know youir gonna lose, theres always someone faster, enjoy the loss and apreciate yours still looks faster standing still [sm=shades.gif]

 

if you race an Ls1 with your mods you are going to lose (including the Xmas gift) but like Grabbn said "never not race a car just because you know youir gonna lose"
