On my way home from going to get food and I was hoping to find a Trams-Am I tried to race saturday in my moms 05 v6. 1st and 2nd I pulled on him in it then he let out so I let out and he started to go again and I was like whatever Ill wait til Im in my car!(2000 Gt) Tonight a Z28 pulls up beside me at a light and I try to play with him! I took off and let out then he flew by me. I got beside him and we went out to the road we normally race on in town. We went from a dig and I couldnt catch traction, he barked and took off! Then we went from a 30 or so punch and I stayed with him until 3rd gear. I talked to him from a sec and told him I had fun and new I wasnt goin to win but Im gone try to get one more race before his gone cuz he had Alabama plates so I maybe he'll be in LA for alil while! But I was bored and figured I share my exciting night with yall!

 

you raced an ls1 with a v6 stang? no chit you lost...but at least you had fun and no one got hurt, so all is good!

 

what year Z28? I wish it were like that here, all I've raced besides a Cobra a while ago was a Dodge truck []

What year Trans Am and Z28? What mods on the Mustang?

 

I don't know I guy that i go to school with has a 98 mustang with a 3.8L with a cold air intake and some exhaust, he's beat another kids z28 up to 110mph. Is this hard to believe. This is what he claims is done anyway. The z28 only has headers and exhaust.

Im gonna bet you mean a 3rd gen.. thats running like crap. It wouldnt touch an LT1... hell it wouldnt be within 3 seconds of an LS1 if its a single port 6er..

 

You would have to have Down Syndrome to believe that. That's like me kicking Randy Couture's ***.

 

Im sure you could dude.. just like the guy beating the z28.. its the same in both cases.. just hope to catch them sound asleep and hope you dont wake them before the kill's over... [8D]

 

So can we all agree there's more done to that v6 than he is leting on? I have a stock 84 cutlass i'm workin on with a olds 350 rocket and i can't touch the z28. I think it is a ls1. Don't hod me to it though.
