Who woulda thunk it.. a Ford Focus SVT hung with me from a redlight lol. I mean my mustang is stock, but still, a focus? Lol.. it was pretty tricked out though. I smoked him out the hole, we hit 3rd gear and he flew past me.. stupid v6 and its horrible topend.. lol.

 

I like the SVT focus. I think a S/C SVT would be a hoot...

 

The few stock Terminators ive driven were a blast, so you'd be right

indeed, an SVTF is pretty close to a SN95 GT in straight line performance.

 

i saw one online once that had a 4.6 and twin turbos under it, the turbos were positioned where the fog lights were...that thing had to be crazy fast

 

ummm im sorry my bro has an svtf and i have a 96 gt and I blow him out of the water. Its no competition.

 

1) You do have some mods that would help you out alittle bit
2) Your brother might not know how do drive very well
3) Is your brothers the 2dr or the 4dr?

An SVT Focus will run 15.2-15.4 stock, which is only .1-.3 seconds slower than an sn95. I wouldnt mind having one as a DD, especially when the S/C kits for them take them over the 250whp mark and run in the 12's.

 

Not really at the time I raced him I was stock except for cai. And no way they run 15.2-15.4 any I've seen run high 15's. Its a 2door he has the tranny mount(to help with wheel hopping) and a short throw shifter. He can drive fine in it. I was a noobie in my car when I raced him. His is an 02. I mean I drove his car for a week and then mine. Mine felt tons faster then his. They would be so much better if their stock tune wasnt so ****ty and boggy.

 

yes they do, they also hit 14s quite easily with a CAI, cat-back and a tune.
