Everyone talks about how great the 4V heads are and yadda yadda yadda...but I've never seen a flow sheet for one. Does anyone know how well they actually flow? I tried SVTP.com but it seems that search only works if you use a couple words and they give you 90 pages to look through....google just links me to sites to buy the heads and none of them have flow numbers on them.

I'm curious to see just how well they do.

 

I don't remember the exact numbers, but if you do some searches for s197 GT Ported Heads, amongst the countless threads about getting 40rwhp in MMFF, there were a couple comparisons of stock 3V vs stock 4v (mach1), and ported 3V vs ported 4V.

I know that the LS1 outflows the 99-01 Cobra as far as CFM goes....is that what you wanted?

 

Stock 4v 04 cobra flow 280@ stock lift and 185@ stock lift
Then you have the all mighty patriot heads flow 312 @ 600 lift and 226 @ 600 lift too bad that you could never have that much lift on those heads.
