I was driving home yesterday evening and I pulled up behind a sweet looking Boss 351. I am guessing early 70's, with the useless back window. He had traction bars and really wide tires on the rear. I could not tell you what the front or the sides look like because when the light turned green, I followed him closely to get ahead of the car beside him. Well he saw me, and I heard the downsift, then he was gone. I downshifted too, but by that time I heard the bark of the next gear he grabbed. Dammm, you got love the old school beasts!

 

 

sounds like he was fast. i got a thing about racing other mustangs though. it seems like it should be a rule. i hate it when some high schooler comes up next to me in a mustang trying to flex......we're on the same team!

Usually I agree with you.. but today I'm so bored here at work.

 

one every once in a while doesnt bother me, especially if it has ANYTHING to do w/ 5.0 tech, like asking a question or something

but when there are several a day, and none of them have anything to do w/ 5.0 tech in any way, shape, or form, it gets annoying

 

those are some nice *** cars i really want a boss 429 but i doubt that will ever happen what a sweet car

I think it was a '71-'73 Mach 1 by the way you described the window. Im pretty sure there wasnt a Boss those years.

 

why does that plate say bos hemi? did ford make an engine with the hemispherical chambers too?
