Race night.... vs. pullied GTP

Haha. I left him in the dust from dig races. With the supercharger, he has the advantage from a roll (any forced induction car does for that matter).

Yeah, I know my 2-3 shifts are slow, but the "dead zone" between them is so prominent that I HAVE to make sure its all the way in beforeI let out the clutch. I'm sick of grinding gears. I shifted at about 5400 RPM in the video.
Steeda "Sport shifter" (not tri-ax) is on the way. As well as a Spec Stage II.
The GTP has over 100,000 miles on it already. He plans on getting many supporting modifications in hopes of making it faster. I'm not gonna lie, I was afraid I was going to lose after hearing he destroyed my friend's Spec-V (who I have raced on numerous occasions).

There is a GTP around here I heard getting on to the highway, he turned on to the on ramp (from nearly a stand-still) and went WOT and I heardthe blowerLOUDfrom about a 1/4 mile away, sounded like gear whine because it was relatively low, till I looked back and saw the GTP trying it's hardest... I almost wanted to go chase him down. Port the blower, swap the pulley... what else could you do to make the blower louder?

I dont know what David K was talking about, but there's a friend of mine around here that runs low 13's on craptastic 60' times
he's got a much smaller pulley, headers, umm.. cams maybe, some kind of new rockers or something..
nothing HUGE, but still, a good bit of work, and he traps in the 105-106 range,,got plenty of miles on his car too, no problems yet that he's spoken of
