How many EVO's have you ever seen? I can count how many I have seen on 1 hand and most of them were on TV...

Does'nt my car run like a 14.1 stock?
I heard switching to 4.10's (over stock gears) will add about a secondnot including myother mods ....things don't seem to add up right..

well a friend of mine has an 06 MR, so I see that one all the time, other then that I occasionally see this silver Evo 8 that lives somewhere around me, and about a month ago I stopped at this dealership to check out one of the new Evo 9 BR350's (very nice, but, not my style), and the dealer said he just got two in and sold one like a week before that, so Im sure I'll be seeing that around soon as well.

4.10-4.30's can take .3 or .4 off... Not bad for a semi-cheap mod.

I live in a town with 75,000+ and I have seen one and it was at a car meet sitting by a Skyline and a 1000 HP supra.

A full second just by using steeper gears? No. Not even close.
Excuse my ignorance, but what gear ratio do 5-speed Mustang GTs come with?
FWIW, if I went with 3.73 gears I would be going up a full point and I would hope to take off maybe 3 tenths, if that.

Im Pretty Sure that in America the MR Is the Same as the regular EVO :-). Just Rims, rear Diffuser/Spoiler Thingy. Maybee Better Brakes. but both of them have like 286hp or sumthing like tat :-) SO u must be a DAMN good driver to stay with a Stock EVO.

Sure it wasnt a Lancer? j/k

I would think that a basically stock SRT-4 would be gone from a dig, and you could take it from a low roll.

A higher roll, say around their 40 mark, would be better for him, but I think that assumming you drive well, it'll go in your favor with the gears.
