It is not entrapment if they merely offer you the opportunity to do something that you are already predisposed to doing. It would be very hard to prove in court too.

Your prior driving record. And, if you did it, it was something you could be considered as having a tendancy to do.

lol, thats not corruption. A bit dangerous, and supervisors would blow their gaskets if they knew about it, but its not corruption.

Cops are human too...and yes, some of them enjoy fast cars Even when they are in slow ones.

 

yea it is illegal for anyone to do it. we discussed it in a thread a while back and somebody actually knew what it was called. i dont remember.

 

Something like that may be illegal in one place, but legal in another. I'm sure that Missouri doesn't have a state law that would cover provoking a race, and my town does not have an ordinance against it. So...here, it is perfectly legal to try to start a race, as long as you don't race past 35 miles per hour in town, or 60 miles per hour on the hwy.

I have no doubt many cities have ordinances against it though...
