It was a very busy ride to Palm Springs from ST Motorsports in San Bernadino

The dyno tune numbers aren't that impressive, but the acceleration increase beyond what I had when I put down higher numbers in the past IS. Holy honest Dynojet.
306.0rwhp 321.0rwtq

Too bad the black C5 vette had a driver older than Father Time, or I would have had the opportunity to walk him too. [pulls out flame-proof shield, aims towards noobs that haven't heard sleeper's kill stories, and to Dan04Cobra]

peak hp is at like 5500, then it drops like 5hp, and climbs back to peak again at 6500, but stays within 10 of peak from 4500-6500. torque is 80% of peak at 2000rpm.

We put the old tune (note: not "stock" tune, the one I came in with today) back in for comparison, and ran 266rwhp/280rwtq...so the tune today netted me 40rwhp and 41rwtq. Even on the old tune, I beat my buddy's 05gt automatic that put 316/322, so I guess dyno's very a lot, or gears make up for 60hp.

Gears help, quite a bit - but dyno's do vary so much it's disgusting. Can't trust them for #'s really.

As you've found out, peak doesn't really mean squat when the HP/TQ curve is flat.

haha i know we got some vette owners but alot of them (on the road) are driven by old farts with no ambition to push that car to its limits

my dad had a vette (first year of the C4 - '84) and drove it like he stole it
