Ok...so it's not really a race story. I was driving to McDonalds the other night and when I'm pulling in some kids were just staring at me...
One was by a black SVT focus and the other an ugly, riced civic or accord. The focus looked about as nice as a focus could, all blacked out. I pulled out and they gunned it after me. I guess they thought cuz' I drove a mustang, I was a "street racer"....?
They flew up on me and tried racin' or whatever, the honda did a fly by after a few min the the SVT paced me and kept getting on it, I waved him off saying I didn't want to run. It would be fun, but there were to many cops around, it being a late weekend night. He stayed with my all though the road reving and whatnot, I liked the car but saw the kid as a ricer, so I did a jerk off motion with my hand he and finally left me alone.
How do ya thing I would have done against this car? I would have liked to find out but I'm not dumb enough to take the risk considering the circumstances. Sounded pretty good, catback and intake maybe?

Haha, If it was from a dig I definatly would have gone for it but this was from a 40mph roll in a 40mph zone. I would have liked to run the SVT, the honda would have been a waste of time and not worth it. It was tepmting though.

 

Astock 02 SVT focus 1/4 is 16.1 so ehh...maybe if he was turbo and then some...

 

whoa! they're not fast, but they're not THAT bad either. stock they're capable of low 15s. with exhaust and a CAI, and maybe a tune, it's an easy high 14sec car. that being said your GT would've had him nicely, unless he had forced induction.

 

LMFAO, are you serious? Stock they are capable of low 15's stock. The 6spd gearbox really helps those fuggers get up and go. But of course you should beat him either way it goes. Nice kill.

 

Focuses (Foci?) are super slow stock. You would have RAPED HIM.

I once took out my mom's auto 03 GT convertible, and absolutely raped my Focus buddy. Hahahaha!

 

lol i was actually looking into a svt focus before i bought my cobra. But when i found out they were not turbo, or supercharged, i opted out.
