Sad day for Terminators...
I work with a guy who has an '06 Grand Cherokee SRT8 and a guy who has an '03 Terminator. The SRT8 is stock. The Cobra has BBK LT's, BBK catted X-Pipe, Flowmaster Cat Back, Steeda intake, Steeda blower tensioner, 2.80 pulley, running on street tires. They were talking crap back and forth to each other. Finally, lunch came around and they left for the highway...
-Race 1: 30 MPH roll... The Cobra started in 2nd gear and eased into the gas and walked him after 50 MPH.
-Race 2: Dead Stop... The Cobra spun all of first, most of second, and a little third and couldn't catch up to the SRT8 until 100 MPH.
-Race 3: Dead Stop... The race was interrupted by some traffic, but until that point the SRT8 had him by 3 lengths. And this time the Cobra had a decent take off.
I can't believe Jeep makes those damn things that fast. I was amazed that an '03 Terminator couldn't blow the doors off an SUV. The Cobra needed to get to 100 MPH to start to pass it. I was amazed. And a little heartbroken.

It really sounds like he wasnt a very good driver to me. It sounds like with some D/R's the terminator would of easily blown his doors off, and you cant call a kill when traffic interrupts a race.

The only times I could find for the SRT-8 were around 13.3, so I doubt it would beat a Terminator with any mods. The HEMI thats in it makes 425 hp and 420 lb/ft. Im guessin the guy drivin that cobra was a pretty ****ty driver.

the fastest time i know of in the srt-8 jeep to date is a 13.1 with drag radials, but hell even a stock cobra is what 12.7-12.4 i think??? not to sure. but the cobra driver couldnt drive...im sorry to say. it should have been a massacre.

y does the jeep need D/r's? its 4wd.
the cobra should have owned him.
