Because I've wanted a Mustang since I knew what one was. And I bought my '99 because I was saving for a '70, when I realized I'd be buying a car I would never drive. So I bought a faster, more reliable one until I can come across a '70.
by the way, youre making yourself look like an even bigger tool in the other thread, keep up the good work

My first was a '97 mustang. It looked awesome but was slower than walking, so I got into stereos. Then, as I was considering a 350Z because I needed a new car and I learned stick on my dad's show-cond '72 Datsun, I heard about the new Mustang coming out, and got on the list months ahead of time and waited it out. I could not pass up 300hp/320tq, better handling than the 350Z, and the looks, all for $26 flat out the door...plus, the new darker yellow is exquisite.
Got out of the DSM world and needed something that looked good and had a bit of *****. It's not as fast as an LS1 but it looks 300 times better so that evens out. I'm all for speed but you have to have some looks too...
