Default Pulled over with no license or registration.

Was driving my G/F and a few friends around town, and got pulled over going 42 in a 30.

As I'm pulling over, I instinctly grab for my wallet....its not there! ****! Then, while going through my glove box, realized I also don't have the extra copy of my reg. DOUBLE ****!

Cop comes up, gives me the speech about always having my license ready and etc. Ended up having to give him my papers for buying the car as proof of identification.

He came back and told me just to come to court, and he'd tell the prosecuter to drop it to a seatbelt or parking ticket, so no points or increase in premium.

I was in disbelief, and as hes walking away, "your lucky I like Mustangs."

Still in shock. Cruise controlled at 30 the rest of the night.

holy crap your lucky although if he would've gave you a ticket it would've been dropped anyways because you just show them your lisence. Oh and BTW don't use your cruise control under 55mph. I heard it could cause dmg.

Had that happen this summer. Put my Z28 on a flat bed and towed it away.1 day and 250 dollars later I got it out of inpound. Just because of the documents were sitting in the kitchen instead of the glove box.[:@]

No he won't because that is BS. You will actually get your best possible gas mileage at 55-60mph in cruise control. I do it all the time (LA traffic = never reach 65mph).
