Default Track Night 10-8-04

Well, decided to go today to just check and see if my clutch was gonna slip.
Seeing as how I fried it last wednesday.(9-29-04)
Well... Everything went A-OK!
Not one once of slippage for THIS GUY

So Roundman, got a Brand Spankin new time for you to beat
Checka Dis-ah Out.
Third run of the night(no juice)

R/T .850 <--yes asleep at the light... still not used to the Break Neck Launchings.
60' 1.792
330 5.414
1/8 8.427@81.04MPH
1000 11.032
1/4 13.181@103.19MPH

That was my best run for the night, tho I did break some of my personal records
Got a new best 60' of 1.739
And a new high trap speed of 103.7MPH

Was another fun night
Red lighted a whole bunch tho, gotta get used to the launching like I said
Can't leave like I did on street tires(meaning as soon as I see the third yellow)
Definatly going back next wednesday, 13.0 N/A Possibly?

Because it IS a 4.9 Liter Engine
Do the math
a TRUE 5.0L engine is like a 307.1 CID

thats true... but what is the displacement with all the numbres after the decimal? isn't it like a 4.948? if you round any of that it'd come to 5.0.

Raced an 03/04 Cobra, some old camaro, some old boat of a plymouth, probe, and some other crappy cars...
Had the cobra til the 1/8th....
Then he just pulled
12.4 to my 13.1
10MPH faster than I was...
Shoulda had my bottle.

Anyhoo, you went to a Bracket Racin night thing?
Or Test n Tune thingie? Where they lay down that VHT stuff?...
Wonder what kind of 60's I could pull with that stuff
