I've got a race in the mustang. The mustang isa 2000 GT, with true duals, no cats and K&N air. I'm racing a 2005 SRT-4. The neon has exhaust, wastegate and short throw shifter. Who do you think will win? Races would be from a dig and 40 roll.

 

Ur going to lose. but it will be fun.

 

Its a drivers race, you have more hp and tq but he weighs less than you, but he is also fwd which makes it alot harder to launch.Even from a roll it will be close, 40mph is in the powerband for your car, so be sure to do it from 40. I raced my freind in his 05 srt from a first gear roll to about 100 and we were dead even, i also had two pass in my car.

 

If both drivers can drive decently.

it also makes a big difference what is done to the exhaust, and what he means by "wastegate"...if hes stretching the boost a bit, and has a fulle exhaust setup, ive seen a stage 1 srt4 in the 12s, very well driven.

 

From a dig is your best shot, from a roll you will get killed...even from a dig i think he is going to catch you fast and rape you...And he has more HP to the wheels then you do, for whoever said you have more HP.....have fun there fast cars so don't be mad if you loose....Good luck though!!!

 

Equal drivers no question SRT4 wins both races.

 

From the roll your going to be looking at tail lights. In a short race (1/8 mile) you have a real good chance to outlaunch him and hold a lead. 1/4 race He has time to recover from a bad launch and the 3rd gear pull in the srt-4 is impressive, even in a stock skittle.
