Me and a trans am dont know what year but it was the 30th anniversary??? Its completely stock not even exhuast work done, but we went two times from a dig..Both races he beat me of course but not by as much as i was expecting maybe around 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 car lengths on me. we are both autos and i know this thread is about me losing but i dont care it was still cool..a few days ago i posted about me racing a LT1 firebird soon who is also stock and an auto.. so im going to work monday and tell him to f****** bring it haha lol

 

You came very close. It takes quite a few mods for a new edge to run with an LS1. After your LT's and a tune, you should be able to pull on them. Anyway, sounds like you had fun, its always fun racing a close race, even if you lose.

Get a set of drag radials and stall and go smoke him!

 

Nothing wrong with posting losses...it's all about having fun. I raced a lightly modded C6 ZO6 a couple weeks ago knowing I would lose and surprise, I got stomped pretty good but it was a good time.

 

yah i really need a stall and some good tires the tires i got now suck really bad...but yah it was fun, the guy works with my friend so he was cool...but after i raced him one of the guys that was with me has a 05 stage 1 roush and hewanted a crack at him and as soon as they went a cop came screamin behind me and pulled him over..that crap was scary

Isn't the 30th Anniversary Trans Am an LS1 from 1999 (1969 being the first year)? The 20th Anniversary Turbo TA is from 1989.

Yep,I think they were white and blue with ugly blue rims.The '89 turbo T/As are truly badass.

 

yep that was it, white car with some blue,light blue rims...he had a CLEAN car no scratches or notin perfect..but yah the rims were ugly
