My friend has a 2001 ss with Nothing but pulleys and he says he can put 4 cars on me I ran a 13.09 ON STREET TIRES </P>

with a full blown high compression stroker motor like that, you should be able to run somewhere in the 12's. you would need drag radials to do it, if he's only got pulleys, he's still running mid to low 13's at best. if hes got nitto 555's he should be in the very low 13's if he's a good driver, and has his car down pat. i say it would be a good race, with you on street tires it might come down to the driver, with good tires i think you've got his number.

 

don't frat about it. go get him and find out that's why talk is cheap.....

 

I ran rim last night i had my ETs on and i put about 2 1/2 cars him the first race from a stop the second from a roll i put about 2 at the end he had some ET on 2 and its a quto i slamed the hell out of my gears it was a good race though expect i need a bigger fuel pump

now go get a nitrous system and shoot the juice in 3rd gear pull about 5-6 cars

Decided not to Had really good track times and beat alot of cars i didnt think i could with the new motor Soo im gonna play with it some more

 

Cool, sometimes the Z28 guys need to be put in their place. I always just ask whats it run. If you have a better timeslip than me, Iwill race but wont talk trash. If you dont knwo, I would rather find out with you and then figure out how to make yours faster if I am the winner. For me its about doing it myself, self improvement and acheivement. Not about how fast my car is or who is slower. No need to brag, I have built plenty of stuff. Its all learning for me, what works what doesnt. Besides this is about fun isnt it?</P>


A guy I know here has a 2001 WS6 TA that runs almost as fast as I do. Always trying to get me, once the thing clears out I pick up about .3-.4 and he doesnt have enough for that. Most of them have to spray to get there, either way though, it works.</P>


Put some more smack down on him. Get the thing in the 12's and have fun with it. WHen you get in the 11's then its even more fun to do. Speed is addictive, just let it take you where you need to go.....</P>

 

Yeah i think they need a good one very so often got the bottle on there now need to do some timeing and some new plugs
