Im driving home, and a riced out 1st Gen Eclipse(white with haggard rims, black vinyls, fart can, and incompetent driver) is ahead of me. I catch up to her, she starts to go, I go, i put many a car length on her. Im way up ahead, and shes coming up again. So I floor it. And even with her nice little jump(had about a fender on me before i realized it was the flyer-byesssssssssss) i still manage to just completely walk away. Poor eclipse.

Do you know if it was an automatic or manual? 2.0 N/A or 1.8? Those 1.8s are so damn slow...I should know because my dad had one for a DD at one point. Hell in my 1.5 liter Mirage I beat a 1.8 Eclipse by 2 car legnths[8D]

Im pretty sure she has a 1.8L, but it wouldnt have mattered if she had anything else. Not only can she not drive(goes to my HS, seen her stall it a LOT) the thing is a pile of poo, lol

 

I drove a 1st gen GSX for a while back in the day. It was a pretty quick car but beating one isn't too much to brag about. They pretty much self destruct on their own.

Those 1.8s They are so slow. Maybe slower than my Mirage but I'm not sure on that one.

That SOHC motor will last forever though. **** is bullet proof. Rivals the D series Honda motors in reliability...
