yeah, i guess it just depends on the area and time. I had some guy in an S10 SS pull up next to me and try to get me to go once... I was like wtf? lol
I'm just not interested in going really fast all the time anymore. There's been times where spots I'd normally just gun it and whatnot, I'd look over and there would be a cop sitting there.

It all depends on where you live and the proliferation of fast cars
The area where I live it almost never happens. It's an affluent area with a lot of luxury and sensible cars (VW, Lexus, Honda Accords, etc). The area where I work is 20 miles away and more rural so there are a lot more Mustangs/Camaros there and also more younger drivers so it happens more often.
WEll the place i live is interesting, there are 3 cities. Roanoke is in the middle, salem boarders roanoke to the west and vinton boards roanoke to the east. Well Vinton is a realy safe place and nothin ever happens there so the cops focus on traffic and it is just one big speed trap so after about 10 pm the streets are empty. But if you go to salem evey one is at fast frededy's and we will count about 150-200 people and cars out there every sat. night. Then at about 9:45 every one converges on Williamson Road in Roanoke. It is the biggest cruise site around. In fact for the 4th of julyu they close off part of the road for crusing and it is bumber to bumber and the cops will ASK you to do burn outs. So if you can come to roanoke and go out to williamson road and NOT get in a race, then that is an accomplishement right there. I get about 3 or 4 races every saturday night out there.
I live in New Hampshire. There are more imports here than you can shake a stick at. NO JOKE. there are 3 rival car clubs. lol. And in one night i can spot 10+ races. doesnt matter what time of the day. I work 7-5. But after 5 on my way home im in my work clothes and boots. So i dont feel like racing. Every so often when im bored or i wanna see if the ricers got anything new i'll go out and stir up some trouble. Belive me it SOO risky and it gets boring after a while. After i race someone i will be like. **** YEAH I JUST WON. Then im like... Im never doing that again. Now after a warning for peeling out, a warning for doing a 3rd gear burn out and blowing by the cops at 70, and a "must appear" at court for doing a brake stand.... Now im thinking its not sooo cool to mess around anymore. lol
