Ok ok forget about the mustang right now. What do you guysthink is hotter, faster,better looking, more exotic? the 2007 Z06 Corvette or the 2007 Dodge Viper

 

"Think" is subjective and as far as performace goes, that can be measured. I am pretty sure the Z06 takes that category (but other people will confirm it). As far as "exotic", I'd go with the Viper, simply for the fact that I rarely, if ever, see them. I've seen the C6 Z06 on the roads, but not the new viper. As far as looks, I like them both.

 

Yea the Vette is faster then the Viper, but it wont be faster then the 08 Viper. But i think the Viper looks really good and is more "exotic" then the vette but if i had a choice between owning the two cars id get the vette, in black.

 

were you refering to the 08 vette or the 07, when you said it wouldnt be as fast as the 08 viper?

 

Well the 08 Z06 wont be as fast as the 08 Viper but the 08 Z06 SS or what ever the supercharged version is gonna be called will own the Viper.

 

this year, the vette is faster...next year, the viper should be faster...im pretty sure that the red viper pictured is the 08 from the autoshow.

gm promises to release a higher hp vette (stingray, z07, SS, etc), but dodge displayed the "mopar performance concept coupe" which was a dressed up 08 viper, with some minor mods like headers, a different air induction setup, and some tuning, and it is making 675..showing that dodge wouldnt have to do more to keep up with a 600+hp vette (within reason)

 

The Viper just looks more aggresive...like "I'm going to eat your children". The C6 Z06 doesn't quite have as much of that look, but looks very awesome regardless.

As of 07, I'm split....as of 08, I'm with the Viper when comparing to the Z06 sans SS....I wouldn't mind having one or the other.

 

I'll take the Viper..Just because there's not 10 million of them on the road..And if I can afford one then I can afford to send it to the guys over at Hennesy!!

right...and the guys at lingenfelter probably wont sell parts of your car while its there...
