Evo X

Yea, I dont look at the cylinder count, I look at performance numbers and how it drives. If it does indeed run high 12s stock, that will be better than or right there with alot of V8s anyways. 4 doors are great I think, still have room for **** when I need to travel haha

I can't wait to take the new EVO X out for a spin, the EVO 9 was awesome. The two I test drove were fantastic cars. Great build quality, good acceleration, superb handling, comfortable, etc... The only thing I really didn't like was the fact that it was still a 4cyl and it had 4drs. Other than that, I could see myself owning one someday.

MAYBE...assuming I don't trade the Vette in for a Viper in a few years.
they have offered the FQ-400, which stands for "F***ing quick", 400hp, although it has 405...there were other, earlier FQ models as well...
and Mr E, how many of these "have you seen this" threads are you going to make? theyre off topic, not S&S.

The new body looks way better. Definitely a step in the right direction. The Evo 1-9s all look the same..like econoboxes. This car gives the car a new, fresh look that it hasn't had since its introduction back in 93 or so.
Is this the American version of of the FQ400? If so I think its gonna be about 45k not 35k. I dont think they will be able to pump them out at 35k. Either way who cares badass car and I like the new look.

A Japanese magazine finally drove one and confirmed some things that were only rumored.Power will jump to 320 hp/ 325 tq and it does feature that dual clutch DSG styled tranny. 0-60 was 4.4 seconds, didnt run the quarter but its expected to be high 12s. Mistubishi is determined to sell this for right around what the outgoing 9s are selling for which is about $35k here in the US. Of course they were raving about the new AWD features and upgrades, dont know how it could handle much better than the previous versions but apparently it does.

i saw a special a while back where they took two Evo 9s, one fully stock, and the other was a stock engine with the new AWD system. They went through a snow covered slalom, and the Evo 9 with the Evo X AWD system made it through the course like 10% faster.
all other things being equal, the new system made the car look like it was on dry pavement, not packed snow.
