ok so from what i know about an sti is that its has 300hp awd and runs 13.1 stock....there pretty nasty haha well my goal is to b able to run with a stock sti from a dig...all of my mods are posted at the bottom and i also just got upper and lower controle arms put on today. i figure when they say a sti can run 13.1 stock it was from a guy that could drive very well...so im gona say the average driver wont b able to get a 13.1 with a stock sti

 

well it depends what year sti.....

 

You'd probably hang with one pretty well right now as is, because you have the right suspension / tire mods. I guess it depends on how much power that handheld tune gave you.

 

yea there wasnt enough room in my signature thing or whatever it is...but i had my car dyno tuned....i know this sounds like bs to every one but the dyno "said" im making 265 rwhp...every one says thats bs and theres no way but who cares...and the im pretty sure its a 04 sti

 

I'm pretty sure an 04 STi can't run 13.1 stock....more like 13.8 I believe....

 

Well you're putting down more whp than a stock STi and you've got the suspension to back it up. As long as you're a decent driver you'd probably be pretty close with one. As long as it's not wet on the road =P

 

wow...never herd that befor....the wrx r supposed to run 14.2s and they only have 230 hp

 

The newest WRX has run a best of like 13.5 bone stock. They're definitely underrated. The STi gearing holds it back in the quarter mile. Why? It's set up for what it was designed for: rally racing. You usually have to shift into 5th gear in the 1/4 in an STi.

 

How do mach 1s fair against the newers sti's in the 1/4?

 

are you referring to the sti running 13.5 stock or is that just the wrx running 13.5 now?
