over the summer me and my friend were racing on the street...he has a 93 z28 with intake and springs and its a auto...i kill him by about a car and 1/2 from a dig and from a role...but when we go to the track he runs right with me....he ran a 13.909 and 99mph and i ran a 13.905 and 103 with a 2.2 60ft....obviously my 60ft sucks but its the best time i ever ran in my car and same with him but why do i beat him on the street so bad? also when i ran that time i had stock shocks and struts and no controle arms...just lowering springs and really worn out netto 555rs...and should he be running fastre than 13.90?

He shouldn't be any faster than a 13.90, in fact that's a damn good time for a basically stock LT1 (CAI is the only power mod you listed).

 

yup, other than that its the only power mod he has..

 

An better launching car *the LT1 in this case* loses its advantage on the street. Neither car will launch as well, but the one that was launching better will suffere more..

youre capable of a mid 13 though with a 2.0 60' easy... get it down and go own him badly.. well. .4 badly

 

with your mods you should be spanking a 14 year old Lt1

 

u should be smoking that lt1. with traction your car should be in the mid to low 13's.
