What did you expect in a stock car? If the LS1 were stock it would probably would have still beat you with that 300lbs in your trunk.

Terminators are worshipped as gods because of their potential, NOT their stock performance...
Dude, let me tell you this.. Terminators are known as god because of their STOCK power and potential! they are over 400hp stock cars and not that heavy (3600lbs) runs almost mid 12s stock. whatelse do you expect from a 25k car? if that LS1 would be stock, i would pull on him with that 300lbs in the trunk.

they are 390 stock not over 400, and dyno more realistically around 360's, they are no slouch stock don't get me wrong but mid 12's is pushin it, high 12's with abetter than averagedriver is more likely.

i have seen countless of terminators dynos around 370-380rwhp. that ain't 390hp and 99% of people know that terminators are under rated.

But even if they put around 360rwhp, it is like 423hp at the crank!

about high 12s.. i just need to wait till tracks open and i will post some timeslips of midor very close to mid 12s stock.

They're rated at 390.. but more like 425bhp... most of the Cobra stock dynos ive seen are around 365-380(which is the highest ive personally seen)... Think about what you said 360 rwhp stock, and rated at 390 - which is around 7-8% drivetrain loss, lol, I wish.

Most drivers once they get a feel for the car will hit a high 12 in the Cobra... Most stock LS1's will never come close a 12... they're out there - just not common.

i know what the car does I have one, mine dynoed at 371 rwhp with just the cat back, i was simply stating the rating that ford puts on the car and not exagerate the numbers although the car is a bit under rated. like you said once they get a feel will hit a high 12 not a mid 12. I was just trying to emphasize the use of terms made by the op to make the car seem even more than what it is. namly the over 400 which is kind vauge and run almost mid 12's instead of just saying high 12, thats all.

Dude, you were the one jumped and said that not 400hp, they are 390hp. and now you are saying that i was showing the car more than what it is.. and you are also saying you know what the car has and you own one. WTF? i still say these cars are like over 400hp.. acutally over 420hp. simply underrated like LS1 f-bodies. the car was rated 310hp and put down 315rwhp.

about mid 12s. very good drivers made it. and i think avarage driver should be in 12s.

i guess when stating crank hp numbers i just generally stick to the manufacturers rating, it's just easier that way imo, it just prevents people from saying that every car is way underated and gives a more general comparison although not always incredibly accuraate. IMO it justs takes some of the drama out of the arguments.

totally agree. High 12's stock Cobra, low to mid 13's stock LS1.
