So me and my friend were coming home from my girls house when I notice a talon a few cars back in the right lane. (I'm in the left lane) I hit a red light with the talon in the lane next to me but one car back. I take off nice and slow in the left lane and pull past the car that was infront of him as does the car behind me. I see him like 3 cars back there weaving in and out of cars as we begin to go into this straight part of road. I'm crusing at the speed limit (50mph) and he starts coming up in the right lane slow at first but starts to get faster and faster. I'm in 4th and I wait until he is going to go flying past me and I drop it down to 3rd and hammer it hard. I started pulling away pretty good and there was a car comming up in his lane, so I start to pass the car and let off and he moves over and is right on my ***. We are now approaching where the road Y's into one lane again. Once pass the car he moves back over into the right lane and trys to beat me to the Y! I put it back down to 3rd and start to pull on him again as we are merging lanes. I'm infront and he whips behind me as it turns into one lane and we both slow and he gets his distance. A mile or two up the road he flashes the high beams and pulls into a housing plan. I tap the brake lights and continue on my way. I would say it was me stopping a ricer fly by but this guy was cool and probably not a ricer. Car was very tasteful and I must say fast. I definetly had him but he put up a good fight. Had to have been a TSI. Just thought I'd share!

Hahaha, lots of talons around pittsburgh stieny... i have friend with an eclipse he has a bunch of talons in his group.... I do have a hard time callin him rice cause his car is probably as fast if not faster than mine [&:].... Hes put a shatload of money into it so... Only gay looking thing he has is a fartcan... which is standard mod on on car that is <8cyl.

 

Yea, I see a ton of them running around, most just young kids with base models with fart cans and big wings but there are some TSI and GSX's around. Never had a chance to run with one, until tonight.
