A buddy of mine who used to work for ford with me has a AWD talon TT putting down close to 540 to the wheels. That was the last time I saw him of course since the dealership I was working at decided to downsize [:@]

huh....I'vealso never heard of a TT 4 banger....seems as if a big turbo would do the trick (unless they had a tiny turbo and a huge turbo, if that is possible)

and what's the deal with flippin the bird after you got spanked?

Put it this way.. stock? no. Modded? They can be made fast for cheap.. especally the AWD turbo version.. yeah.. those things can haul when modded.

(to the poster)

I doubt he had any type of spray.... by the sound of it you had a run in with a basic bolt on FWD boosted talon running stock boost...

the second run he prolly had a manual boost controller and pushed around 15-16PSI
(highest you can go without fuel cut on stock turbo)

just my opinion

well now that i think about it maybe he wasn't racing the first time. I got on it as hard as it can with out spinning. It seemed like to me he was racing unless his car was just that fast to toy with me. lol. But I said i eventually caught up. It seemed like it was only NOS modded to my stock (x-pipe flowmaster - dumped). It was fun though. I'm never trading this Stang!

if it was only...... NITROUS modded why did you hear a fart cannon exhaust?

you do know that these talons are stock from the factory with a little turbo right?

to hang with your NPI GT, all one would need is a few basic bolt on'sand stock boost....

after that he probably just raised the PSI on his manual boost controller.... I don't think anyone with a talon would spray it when they can get a boost controller and jimmy the fuel output for far less money for the same results

Last night on the way home a red light was for sure coming up, and at the same time I heard a wind breaker (Fart pipe) behind me. We both stopped at the red light. 96' GT (me) Eagle Talon (him)from a dig he was raped from 0-90. And I let off. He later caught up and we ended up from a 45mph roll, bad idea. I dumped second and barked the tires to about 60mph I was ahead, then he flew by me. That bastard NOSed me. But after that I caught up again. Kind of embarrassing for my g-friend being with me. She flipped him and laughed with our fly-by.

What a shame...your girlfriend is a ricer...
