Let me preface this by saying I'm not really a "racing" kind of guy. I'm middle aged, with two kids, a wife and a mortgage. I bought my Mustang becuase it has always been a dream car. I just want the car to be throaty and kick in when I want to.

BUT

I'm coming home tonight after a good 10 hour day a work. I'm at a light on Route 72 in Manahwkin, NJ (check google Earth). I'm a bit tired but looking forward to going home. To my left comes this Mazda RX7. There are two passengers. The one on the passenger side rolls down his window. I look over. He says something about a "mustang" calling it a "pusstang". He appears to be a little **** faced. All the while the driver is revving. I honestly didn't plan on doing anything. But because I've just had the car for 2 weeks, I'm just in 'mustang mode", you know?

I look over, smile and then keep looking straight ahead. I also looked around to see if Stafford's Finest (the police) were around). This lil' f'er was annoying me.

The light turned green. I slammed on the pedal, fished tailed a bit (scared the S out of me) eased up but blew his f'n doors off.

Heheheehe I loved it. I can't wait to mod...

LOL......I'm in the same age/status category. There are times when the Stang just reaches up grabs you by the stones and makes you do things you really shouldn't

 

yah i was at a light next to a civic and he honked at me and when i looked overhe put his tumbs down, so when the light turned green i let him get out in front a little and then showed himwho was boss.
