Lucky for you the sixxer didn't hit you with the D2D shift. You would have been in a world of hurt.

id have to disagree with that statement, ive raced 3 different GTS celicas....1. the one (auto)i beat in my dads v6 2. A manual one of anotherfriendwith cai, exhaust, headers and tuner chip of some sort(i had my old v6 vert, stick with CAI exhaust and ud pulleys) 3. and one random blue onein the familys old '95 5.0 (5 spd, high flow intake, tb, plenum, exhaust, no cats and the usual witha tune) and the closest was the race described above. i know everyone says the 6's arent real mustangs, but like i said theyre not THAT slow. gt's just put them to shame . either way, i respect em for what the have and the benefits they provide (such as the 100 dollars less a month i was paying for insurance haha). Theyre good cars.

lol idk what was wrong with that guys car, with my dads stock auto vert six i rape my buddy in his 02 celica gts. the cars have NO low end torque. as is its like 130 ft lbs peak....i have 2 cars on him by 50-55 unless he launches HARD, and its still a car length. someone just doesnt know how to drive the six....theyre slow, but not THAT slow.
Then the GTS driver cant drive. Theyr a good race for NPI GT, they should kill a auto vert sixxer fairly easily.
