Default STi?

Couple days ago I was going out to lunch and I notice a black STi with those gold wheels 3 cars ahead. So I promptly follow. Lucky me, the two cars between us turn left and I get behind the STi. He notices me and guns it while turning left. I follow him, about 2-3 lengths behind (didn't push it all the way, cause you never know when he might put on the brakes). He proceeds to make many extremely hard turns where I tried to stay with him, tires squealling in the turns. I met up with him later at school and told him I was in the Firebird behind him, he smiled and we went our seperate ways. I'm glad he wasn't a moron and I am pretty impressed with those STis.

Those things are pretty quick. I know someone with mods but still the stock turbo and he ran like a 8.4 in the 1/8th. I think that's pretty damn good for a car on a stock turbo.
APEX N1 Catback, Invidia Downpipe, Invidia UpPipe, COBB Intake, Greddy RS Blowoff Valve re-circ., COBB Stage 2 Flash
Oh those are his mods and says he should run like an 8 flat with some better driving. I don't know much about those cars but it doesn't sound like he has many modifications.
