00' GT VS. RSX
On saturday nightI was cruising back from an arcade with my buddy behind me in his Toyota Spyder ( I think it's a 2000 model year). All of a sudden, this dude in a Chrysler 300 cut him off. We stop at a light and I tell my buddy to race the dude. The dude and my friend take off and I'm sitting at a green light with some dumbass picking his nose in front of me. Needless to say they were long gone before I could catch up. He wound up losing to the 300. Meanwhile I'm driving to my buddy's house and there's an Acura RSX two lanes to my right. We take off from one light and its clear he's trying to race me. As we approach another red light I move into the lane next to him to give him confirmation that it's on. The light turns green as we roll up to it and we both gun it. Next, this punk cuts me off very badly nearly causing an accident. I overtook him at the top of second gear and it was all over. The experience was fun except for the fact the guy cut me off. I rarely race people cause I recently got a $300 speeding ticket. Kind of makes you think twice. By the way, I got a 2000 GT 5-speed with an a catback exhaust and a BBK intake. I'm waiting for some free time to install some shorty headers.
why wouldnt i be? you end up spending more money after you realize they suck. just get LT's and be done with it the first time around
shorties dont flow as well as many people believe, they're more restrictive. honestly, a STOCK LS1's heads flow good enough to be considered shorties.. andd you can't get a bigger cam with shorties.

Shorties work well for a mostly stock car,LT's lose torque on stock motors but are good for a built motor
