i have a 2007 gt 5 speed with the 3.55 gears(well dont have it yet but waiting on delivery)
i was wondering would any of these cars give me a problem. i would say i am a decent driver on a manual. i know some of these carsi could beat but i am only askin to see.(mostly because i know people with these cars, or people i have seen around here have them.)

now figuring that all are stock.
newerwrx (i firgure the sti would be a drivers race.)same with the evo, but if i am wrong let me know

any of the base ls1( i figure they will beat me for sure). not the firehakw or ws6, i know i would lose!.

yeah i know, i was just tryin to think of the newer quick cars and i thought of the si i didnt know it had 200 hp well scratch the si off the list

 

you do realize the 07 GT has 3.55 gears STOCK right?

Don't the 07's also come with a samller gear set for fuel economy? Do you have to special order the 3.55's?

 

no the 3.55 is an option in the 07 it cost 100 extra 3.31 is stock and i guess u can only get the 3.55 in the manual

You'll beat everything except the STi/Evo and LS1. The STi/Evo you can beat from a roll fairly easily and maybe even from a dig if they don't launch hard. At the track all those AWD cars take off so lame off the line. Like they just roll off the line.

Now the LS1 car properly driven you will lose to. The only chance you have is to race a bad driver(I've seen them at the track pulling worst times than me) or beat one off the line and not go into like triple digit speeds.

 

however, if many of those cars arent stock, even by a little, they could be much more difficult opponents.

 

oh well if they are a lil modded and i lose i will just get a cai and a tune and go at it agian
