May I suggest sub-catagories..... such as ..........

1. Fastest mod motor that is capable of running a 12 but just hasn't quite yet. ( for JD)
2. Fastest black Fox body that runs Nitrous but is afraid to launch like a man (for Obsol3te)
3. Fastest 4.6 litre P/A car that has the same problem as Obsol3te. ( for MD)
4. Fastest retired geezer in a Fox body (for Roundman)

Anybody care to add to the list?

Damn that sounds serious If you want to launch off the limiter then you'll need slicks, M/T 26x8.5x15's or 26x10x15's's should do it . Buy some used welds or other light weight wheels and you're all set. Now if you're a lazy bastid like me and don't wanna change tires at the track then the 275x50x15 M/T drag radials are the hot ticket. With either tire be sure to bring clean shorts on your first time out, you'll thank me later.

BTW don't get anything 17" or you'll be suckin' at the track

where are you launching at with your MT DR's? I was thinkin some ET streets so I could swap at home and drive to the track, you got the MT dr's or the et streets?

And I was launchin at around 4k, but bottle pressure was HORRIDLY low.
So i don't even think I was breakin 300rwhp with the shot.

Actually I am still on my 275x50x15 BFG DR's till spring. I plan on selling them localy and picking up a pair of M/T DR's then. The M/T DR's are better than the BFG's going by folks that have had both. I'm launching off the 2-step @ 5000 and getting right in the bottle. Best 60' has been 1.60 on the juice and 1.71 N/A. The Streets would be a good tire but the M/T DR's hook just as well and are much more stable on the top end. I'm old and don't like the car moving around on the to end

Well I wasnt quite as happy as I thought I would be this race but I did well. I figure you guys wouldnt believe these times out of a bolt on so I'll go to Walmart tomorrow and get it on CD. LOL Anyways... without further ado...

I tried to use up all my gas on the way there but still had a quarter tank to race on. If I was on "E" like I usually always am I would have broke a 12. Im happy with the 13.02 though. Im gonna go to Ennis or San An sooner or later and maybe run a 12.8. I'll post the time slip tomorrow evening.
