Ok first off i want to say that like just about everybody on this forum i am not for street racing. With that said, i dont want everyone flaming me for doing this because it was in a completely safe place with no other cars.

I was taking a friend home from church and this kia sofia (ha) starts following me so i drop my friend off and come out of his road and theres the kia so i'm like WTF... I keep driving for about 5 more miles and he's still there so i'm like alright thats enough so i motion for him to pull over and we agree on going form a stop to 70.

I got the jump on him and just kept going it wasnt even funny how bad i beat him, i probably had 6 cars on him.

i have a V6 auto, i know a kia is nothing to brag about but thats my first race

First is lower than reverse in most transmissions. Reverse usually ends up between 1st and 2nd. Especially on automatics. Its just how the planetarys are used.

But yeah why bother with a Kia? I mean, if you have a nice Trekk MTB you can usually out run those things.

Yeah planetaries are how Venus reacts with Uranus. That's it, yeah. Um okay sure uh huh... Well hey most ricer cars dont have planetary sets in them, since they are usually the proud owner of a clutch with about42 pounds of clamping force. I guess ya dont need much if you have no torque to hold. Cant you stop a spining honda engine with your hand?
