Cloned GT500

Cloned GT500
So i was cruzing around and saw this red "GT500". He sees me behind him so he turns into the left turn lane (the pic). i follow. the light turns green, we go, as soon as he gets around the turn he floors it. I do the same, but by the time i got to almost50-60mph i was all over him. I shut down at 75 and he keep going. If it was a two lane road that we turn onto i would of had a pretty good chance of taking him.
anyways i rolled down the window at the light to hear his exhuast when he took off, it sounded like it had something. so i guess it wasn't real
thought i would share
on the way home i saw an M6 he gave me a show [sm=gears.gif]that was sick... well for 100K it better be

Yea, I don't really understand the story, other than the fact that you felt like you would have kept up with it being the only reason you didn't think it was real.
There was a 05+ GT at the car show around here in the summer done up sort of like a GT500 before they came out. It was one hell of a sick looking car, especially from the rear.
I think he was blown and juiced.

Yea, if you were all over him, then it was one of two things:
1. A stock GT with a GT500 clone makeover
2. The guy was "afraid" to actually get on it.

Yea, after lookin at it more closely.........it looks like the genuine article.......not a clone. I'm guessing he just didn't use all the throttle. I'm about 35hp short of the GT500's bhp and even I don't like to go full throttle from a stop in congested areas. Trust me, its not pretty.
