just ran the quater last night and du u guys think i did good. the car- a 1990 7-up car. the mods-ported gt40's, summit shorties headers, h pipe with some 10 year old flowmasters, ported upper and lower intake, 3.73's, pro 5.0 shifter, MT E/Tstreets with a 125 shot. i have a cold air intake,70mm mass air flow sensor, 70mm tb,stock fan powerstearing and air condi. with 138,869miles on the moter and cluch ant tranny.
The fastes time off the gas was a 13.5@98.69mph. 60ft 1.856 i ran 13.60's 5 times in a row
on the gas i ran a 12.53@110.36mph with a 1.762 60. do u think that this a fast convertable? would bigger injectors, andelectric fan help me

id say thats pretty good...

an electric fan can never hurt...a viscous fan eats some power, so going to electric will free upa little power.

 

also get like a E303 or such... i dont see that you have a cam so that will add some more power... maybe with a few more things you can get it into the low 12's.. thats fast as hell for a vert and a bigger guy... im 6'4" 240ish... sucks getting in these small cars..

I'm also really tall. 6'5. Sucks getting in these cars. I had to move my seat back. My dad and I drilled 4 new holes for my car driver seat to move back.
