You guys are not going to belive this and i still cant and dont wana belive it.Im in my brand new f250 powerstroke 4x4 and i come up on a 99+ cobra and i pull up right next to him at the red light and put it in neutral and start reving it up and so did he..The light turned green and i stomped on it and i looked right beside me and all i could hear was that 4v redlining and he hit second gear and barked them and he couldnt get in front of me for anything..We raced up til about 65 and he was still just right beside me then he let off and so did i..I looked at my uncle and was like OMG can you belive that crap..Now all of you could say that there was something wrong with it and im trying to convince myself that there was but that thing sounded pretty good...isnt that some crap?

 

Sux for that guy if he cant even beat an f250. Although ive driven those diesles and they have abut 560 lb ft of tq.

Ive seen it before except it was like a 97 Cobra Vs a Powerstroke and they went all the way side by side.

 

its fun to do that with old beaters who rev at you, just stay even with them til 40 or 50 and then take off

Not every car on the road runs well and is tuned well. Many neglected, older-ish cobras have been beat on, raved, and abused for years, and obviously their performance will suffer. I bet this was one of those cases.
