Default a pretty good night

well i went out to dinner with my cousin and her fiance and and he heard that i got a mustang but hadnt seen it yet, now he was a mechanical engineering major so he knows a good bit about cars, and we talked basically all through dinner about how his bmw 325i was the shiz, which i'll admit it is an awesome car, pretty much all bmw's are, but anyways, after dinner were driving home and i was next to him at a light, so it was understood, and we ran it all the way through third and i was up on him by about 4 car lengths. so i was pretty happy with myself.

then when i was almost back on campus (LSU) a 97 gt pulls up to me and nods, so we go and at the end of second i had him by about half a car. then i get next to him again and we started talking and it turns out that he had a v6 but had swapped it, and had cobra CAI, and cats with no mufflers, which sounded really good btw, and underdrive pulleys, so i went home feelin pretty good

as a computer engineer I take offense to that well, soon to be I guess since I graduate in may. I have a buddy who is a mechanical engineer who doesn't know the first thing about engines so I still kinda agree with what you said.

The 3.25i isn't a 16-17 sec car I don't think, but maybe somewhere in the 15's. They aren't the slowest turds around but they sure as hell won 't pull on a V8 Mustang, at least not an '03.

yeah he doesnt really know that much but i dunno he said he took classes on cars in college so i kinda had to give him the benefit of the doubt. to top it all off he talks down to everyone and acts like a know it all or sumthin so it felt good to put him in his place.

also i just got some bridgestone potenza 275's on the rear so it pulls hard in first

i'm not sure what times the pull but i'm guessing low 16's since the m3's are in the mid 13 range.
