i pulled up to a light yesterday and the lane next to me was open so this guy in a 05 mustang that was behind me came and pulled up next to me...on the side of the car it said gt so i figured i was in for a good race..light turned green and i nail it...he didnt even get on it at all...i figured he didnt want to race untill he came flyin by me...then i saw the back and realized it was a 6 cylander[:@] i felt kinda bad for tryin to race the poor guy but it wa still fun

 

Thats funny. I always feel like an *** when I rip away from a light and look back and i'm the only one racing.[8D]

 

i always get mad when i see someone with badges on their car that arent true- right down the block from me there is this girl- parents bought her a brand new 05 mustang when they came out, brought it home and she complained that it wasnt a GT, so they took it to a body shop, had a body kit, GT badges and dual exhaust installed, and the funny thing about it is that only one exhaust tip actually works lol. it just makes me angry cause if she pulls ups to some slow piece of **** and gets beat, the person who beat her will think they have taken a GT.

 

Hrm, are you stuck up about complaining that your parents didnt get you a GT? This is a hard call for me, because I would be pissed as well getting a v6 instead of a v8... atleast it is not bad like complaining about the wrong color.

 

Because, if your parents are nice enough to buy you a what, $23,000 car, you should be thankful.

hey - its better than having the 6 smoke you. my dads boss has a 300 rwhp supercharged 2004 6 convertible, built internals and everything. The thing runs like extremely low 13's/high 12's....thatd be embarassing to roll up next to.

 

There is no reason to badge your car into something it is not. That is silly and a sure sign of low self esteem. Hell, he should be happy he has a Mustang! I have a 6 and could care less about the haters.

haha I also know a jackass who badged his 05 V6 w/ cobra emblems...you should've seen some of the looks and comments this kid got w/ those on there lol he took them off after only having them on for 2 days...he was/is a toolbag still....

 

i wish my mommy and daddy bought me a brand new car. i got a hand me down 98 v6. i had to buy my first brand new car.
