Default Killed a Crossfire today...

I was driving in to work today and some guy in a BRAND new Crossfire (new enough to where he didn't have plates on it yet) comes SCREAMING past me on the freeway. I backed off, because the guy was driving like a maniac, and he then cut me off to get into the exit lane for the same exit I'm taking off to go to work.

I'm thinking this guy is just an @$$, so I'm backing off, and as we get off the exit, we pull up to a light, where there's 2 lanes that turn left. As I'm sitting there at the light, the guy in the Crossfire starts revving his engine, and I'm thinking, "This guy's GOTTA be some sort of loose nut behind the wheel."

Well, as the light going straight through starts changing, I see him starting to roll just a bit, like he wants to jump off the line. Now, every time I've seen people do that at this light, they're trying to cut over into the lane I'm in, and usually just drift over, completely oblivious that both lanes turn left.

As the light changes, the guy in the Crossfire tries to do just that. I've already started pulling, and on the right side of me is a concrete barrier. Either I slam on the brakes and let Bozo Jones in the Crossfire clobber me, or punch it and pull past him. So I plant my foot hard on the accelerator, and the guy in the Crossfire pulls hard to the left as I go past him with my engine gunning. He then starts trying to run hard down the same street I am, and I just pulled away from him like he was standing still. It was nice, although the tires DID want to break loose a little too easily when I floored it...

Good kill I hate a$$hole drivers. I drive aggressive but I do NOT cut people off.

i raced one recently with 3 people in the car, i beat him by 3-4 cars from a dig, but from three 40-130mph rolls, he won by like a car and a half. If i was by myself i bet i could have taken 'em

oh well, nice kill [sm=smiley20.gif] they are quick, they run low 13's

I think it depends on the Crossfire model - not sure but model one has a lot more HP.

Way to go though.

Nice kill!!

I see that kind of stuff all the time when people get into a right turn lane and decide they are going to go straight and cut someone off.
