My dads old boss has a v6 with close to 300rwhp...supercharged and all. pretty fast, its like low 13's at the track, its a convertible. Whats the fastest v6 you guys have seen? any year whatever, im a believer in them ( i used to have one) but who has seen the finished result of one? any turbo ones?

 

Dont know about mustangs, but theres some Turbo Camaro V6ers w/ 500rwhp...

The fastest one will break into 10's shortly

 

there are built V6 mustangs in the 10s, if not 9s..

I know Super Six Motorsports put a NA V6 into the 11's. It went into the 10's once they added some N20 and they are shooting for 9's really soon.

 

i dont know much about the car...HRnB sent me a link way back with a video of a sixer in the 10s...i believe that it was super six...

 

i wanna see like a ride on a forum of a 6er running atleast 13's. its entirely possible, they displace a TON for 6's. if 3.5L z's can push close to 300 flywheelhp...im sure an NA 6er could do close to the same.

 

The essex blocks are extremely strong and can hold a lot. But...just as a generalization....the people who own them either don't know enough or can't afford to build them up. I say post this in the V6 section, you'll get much more traffic for what you want to know.

 

matt neuthart from delk has a white 95 with a cobra front, it runs high 9s at 31 psi, stock short block and crank to, it is currently the fastest production based v6 out there

justin starkey of vmptuning.com has a junkyard 3.8 with stock internals, heads, cam etc with a twin turbo kit litterally slaped on, he runs high 10s and 17psi

SSM has a green notchbakc that runs 11s NA and is in the 10s on the giggles

lil roush on this web site has a 4.2 with a m112 off a cobra with 500 HP

usually, the v6 is considered an underdog because of the simple fact that its "missing" 2 cylenders, in reality, its one of fords best kept secrets, especially for boost junkies and its a shame that a bunch of crack head teens drive them and rebadge them like they are hot **** and arent, they ruin it for the true 6er fans
