Was driving home froma friends house when I saw a silver srt4 behind me. We got toa light and he pulled up next to me. We didn't rev at each other but we both kind of knew what was about to happen. Light turns green, and I get an ok launch. The race was dead even up until 4th when I had to slow it up because my lane ended quickly. So I guess I lost because I had to give up( since I didn't want to hopa curb and plow into a wall).
I don't know to much about srt4's. So Im not sure if I should have beat him or not. If it helps his exhaust sounded like it had work done and his blow off vavles were loud as hell.

Yep outcome sounds about right. Pretty equal cars stock vs. stock from a long dig.
Under that circumstance I wouldn't call it a loss. A tie yes but not a loss. Nobody is going to continue under that circumstance(well there are those idiots but they end up in ditches).

Definitely NOT a loss. Good tie I guess. LOL. But SRT's are quick up top. We have the advantage with the torque we have, especially off the line.
When I had my GT, one of my close friends had an SRT-4. My GT was an '03, bone stock. Before he put all of his stage 1 mods in, he had an intake and down pipe. With just his intake, race after race It would always be a drivers race between the two of us. And a lot of them did end in a tie.When he got his downpipe, he beat me 95% of the time. Even with his stage 1 mods, he could never beat me off the line, and I could never beat him from a roll.
But SRT's were fun to race. They're good competition for a 99-04GT.

Their stupid loud right from the factory. It's a Drivers race with you having the advantage on the launch and it having the advantage once the turbo gets spooled up.
