96 GT has a significant power to weight disadvantageagainst the 240SX. Even my 00 V6 manual mustang will beat an Autostock 94-98 Mustang GT. I can hang with the manual version of those years and I havezero mods except for CAI and true dual exhaust.

One of my friends has a 89 hatch 240sx with a sr20det swap and no matter how we race i still lose. Should i be losing? I only have minor mods bbk pullies, mac intake and 4.10 gears.

Those 240's are quick with the sr20det's in them, I got raped by one about a week ago.0-60 he was ahead by 2 cars. But it all depends on how much boost they are running.Do a PI swap then blow it. Then he will be wishing he had a mustang.

Shouldn't put 94-95 96-97 98 all in the same category. At my track the 98's seems to do better than the previous years. What kind of times does a 00 v6 manual run?? I'm still having trouble believing that statement. But I've been wrong before.
