Ok one of my friends just got a 2002 Hyundai Tiburon Tuscany and he wants to race. Its a automatic with CAI and an exhaust and i have a 2000 automatic stock. He was been talking a lot of trash and i wanna kno if i should talk back or keep my mouth shut?

i'm gonna say drivers race-you have a little more power, but he is lighter.

 

They are a pile imo, the damn V6 only makes 170hp. My best friend since grade school bought a 2000 I4 Tib and that is a huge huge pos.

My 95 mustang beat him way before I ever started modding it, I was only putting out 145bhp too!

I would say its a fair race, beat the socks off of him

I know its a V6, the V6 has 170hp.

They are both gutless korean piles. In 1995 Mistubishi took over their motors department, thats about the best thing that ever happened to Hyundai.

 

Just about any car with 2 doors and a V6 pisses excellence compared to the V6 Tibbies. Sooooooo slow, dont respond well to mods, and are decently unreliable. I do think the 3rd generation tibs loook good though. standing still and in the rear view!

 

They're supposed to have a good top end.

 

If they ever get to it, lol. Even if they do, they've already been blown away by anything else.

 

The guys over at newtiburon.com claim to get there GT's into the mid 15's. I don't really believe that, not too mention that your car comes with about 20 more HP and 40 more lbs/TQ. I think you will get it him. Those cars only weight about 100lbs less.
