So this is kind of a funny story. At least to me.

I'm going to meet my girlfriend on Saturday to head out to the Dodger game and I'm cruising down the 60 when I roll up on an accident on the freeway. So traffic starts to crawl as everyone gets their eye full ofa Contour or something similar that spun out and backed itself in the guardrail. So I'm waiting to traffic to free up when a gunmetal Evo pulls up next to me with a couple younger guys in it doing there BOV whoosh sound on my door. I laughed at them and shook my head. Then they did it again. And I just laughed again at them having no intention of running the car. So then the passenger rolls down his window and starts talking to me. I didn't hear what he said so I rolled down my window and then traffic started to free up. My lane let loose first so I was out front on them and the freeway was pretty damn empty. I kept the car at 60mph and they did the ricer fly by. No big deal I kept on and accelerated to 70mph. Well a mile or so up the road they slowed down for the typical cali drives that roll side by side blocking traffic at 60mph taking up the whole freeway. So I slide in behind them waiting for the "FAST LANE" to free up. Guess that was the invite for them to start playing games with me. They slowed down and then sped up, slowed down then sped up. After the third time I was hooked and just wanted to pound this kid like no other. So the lane frees up and they tried to make a run for it. "YEAH THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN." I walked him in as soon as we cleared the cars that were slowing us up and went around him at maybe 80mph by the time I got to 100 I had him covered by 4 lenghts and was pulling away so I backed off it and went back to 70 mph just wanting to finish my drive to Whittier. Ricer Fly-Bye and their gone. So I think.
I get off the freeway and who happens to be in front of me? Gunmetal Evo 8 MR. So I just take off like normal and they get in the lane next to me and we catch a light. Driver rolls down his window. "We'll kill you for a stop. We have AWD" I said, "Cool you can try that if you want". Light turns green and I came out even with him through 1st. 2nd I pulled 2 lengths or better on him and 3rd was over to the point I backed off it. I kept my windows down and pulled along side them a few blocks down the road. My only question was "What happened to your AWD????" After that they followed me til they got to their turn off. I don't think they wanted to play anymore.

I only wish I had the Nitrous hooked up for the run so I could have really buried them.

No forced induction "YET". Right now the car is still N/A with all the bolt ons and 4.30's out back. It's a beast on the low end if it stick's but kind of runs out of steam at about 115mph. The Nitrous helps a little, but not as much as I'd like. I'm gonna go turbo or ProCharger next year.

yeah dude lets hear those bolt ons. i said it earlier in the earlier thread, but i LOVE hearing about evos getting smashed. And yes dude your ride is badass, i love the white, its my favorite on stangs.

 

Right now the car has
FRPP Shorty Headers, Bassani OR X-pipe, Bassani Axle backs, Charge Motion Deletes, Steeda UDP's, C&L intake, JPC Tune, BMR L/C arms, BMR LCA Relocation brakets, 4.30 gears, and a 100 shot of NX that wasn't used on this kill. Actually I haven't had to use it yet on the street. Still waiting for that fateful encounter with a certain SS Camaro.

Thanks for the compliments on the car too. I hate a good lookin car that can't handle it's own. So I'm trying to make an 11 sec daily driver out of it. Right now I'm seriously traction limited at the track.
