Default 431hp hatch vs. GT(ROUND 2 UPDATE!)

Just a couple minutes ago.Super clean Black civic hatch, fully gutted, some kind of b16K20-5 GSR type R(lol, I dont know) motor swap fully built on 15psi(probably BS), on 110 octane race gas(for sure, I smelt it). Put down 431hp on the dyno. By far the fastest in the area.

He pulled up all cool, and had a buddy of mine ask to race. The stang had the MT's on the back, and REALLY wanted to go from a dig. lol. Yea right, he didnt go for that. 40 roll(top of second) on the interstate. Stupid asses that were in the parking lot followed, and I counted 8 deep. And wouldnt you know it, not one camera. lol.

3 honks, the stang kinda gives him the jump, slams it, and procedes to put multiple? cars on him. 4-5 ish, til 120, then shuts down. Wouldnt you know it, he does the fly-by. lol. He procedes to call my buddy and tell him the turbo lagged? LAGGED?!!!!! From a 2nd gear 40 roll? LOL. Good one.

Immediately after that, off the spray(still on the nitrous tune), the Mustang went against a 1993 civic DX hatch, GSR swap on 8psi(260whp), other mods, same race 40-120, similar outcome. Pretty steady pull, maybe couple cars.

If you didnt know it already, PAY ATTENTION!!!!!!!! TORQUE POWNS HONDAS!!!!!!!!!! lol

Mods on stang, fully built 302 stroker, 4.10 gears, Et Street radials, 150 shot.

A 431whp civic must have lost to a really really really fast stang.

I hate to say it ZW, but somebody (the civic) is bsing their WHP numbers, or just cannot drive

There is a local guy with a not fully (but real close) gutted civic making like 403 WHP. He has raced one of the local 03 cobra guys with exhaust, intake, pulley, tune, and ported blower. The cobra put down 50x/50x on blower only (he also runs a shot) and on blower only the civic and him trade off wins from a low/medimum roll.

You don't want to know what would happen to your car vs said cobra... it gets ugly, I found that out

I would put money on me vs a 50x/50x 03 cobra. I like 475/575 better than 500/500. But w/e.

This car has been sold around a couple of times to different people(one a personal friend), and Its always been a 430hp civic. Its a street racing legend around here. He said he lagged, which could have been the case, but what could I do? lol. I wanted a dig, he picked a 40 roll? I raced it and won. From a dig it would have been NASTY for him.

I'll get him to bring out his dyno sheet, and a full mod list, and get this on camera.

Yeah, they are lighter, but 40rwhp and 200+ft-lbs of torque is pretty hard to overlook.

Well he is REALLY pulling out the "LAG" card on me, and based on yalls comments, we are gonna try again. I'm getting a full mod list, dyno sheet, boost numbers etc.... tomorrow.

P.S. He said I pulled 2 cars before he hit boost, (he thought he was gonna pull me back)and then pulled 2 more after that. So I am gonna go with 1100PSI in the bottle, and get this on video to show you guys.

The 03 went 11.40s/11.50s on the 75 shot with a 1.75 60'. He has been as low as (i think) an 11.50/11.60 on blower only but with a slightly (1.70?) 60'.

its a handful and a half, and the civic was right there.

Forget the TQ numbers, they mean nothing to that little car. Hell, for 400+ in a civic its all in the top of the band anyway. They make a ton of power up top, and stay there thruout the race, so the 200 ft/lbs doesn't mean anything anyway

I'm not calling bs on the results of the race, only what power its acutallly making. 430 WHP in a civic that wieghs probably 2000 pounds... its just ugly from a roll.

Look at the power/weight ratio. Your car is probably close to tipping the scales at 3500 pounds (with the IRS, nitrous, etc etc). At 475 your at 7.36 pounds/horsepower, compared to his 4.65 pounds/horsepower.... Thats just nasty.
