What Times?
Hey everybobyI am new to the sight. Seems to be very informitive. Anyway here is my question. I have a 99GT with 373's CAI, catbacks and a 75 shot of NOS the tires and wheels I have are 18x10 in the rear and 18x9 in the front (noDR's). What should I run in the quarter mile. My best is 13.8 on my old 17" wheels and tires I have not tried the new tires yet. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Oh and my best 60' time is a 2.4 I can cut a good light I have raced motocross for 30 years so I am good on starts.

probably a little faster than that, the larger tires may be hurting you tho, but im sure the extra traction helps. As long as you're recalibrated for that you're okay. are you auto or stick? my guess is like mid 13's if auto MAYBE MAYBE MAYBE low if youre stick and a good driver. welcome to mustang forums btw

WOW, if you ran a 13.8 in the 1/4 mile with gears, exhaust, intake and nitrous, your in definate need of the driver mod. You should be runnin low 13's easily. Your 18" rims are bigger, so that might slow you down more than your last runs on your 17" rims.

It is a 5 speed. Why would larger tires slow me down?
And how do I recalibrate the car for the larger wheels?
