I was getting on a 3 lane road doing 50 mph on the upramp (a clover leaf entrance, I love to see the faces of the other drivers hanging dearly on their steering wheels trying to follow me) and I saw this big black car jumping on my tail. He could not follow in the turn but as soon as I was on the straight road I downshifted in third and gunned it down, the black car jumped on my tail again and at 100 mph he changed lane (I was in the middle lane) and flashed past me. I was dumbfounded until I checked the srt8 specs. By the way, I am stock and driving the GT for 3 weeks only (I did not drive manual for 8 years).

 

yeah, my buddy has a 300c and i've been wondering if i'd be able to take him, i'm a NPI auto, bout stock, i've been in his car but i can't tell whether or not he'd beat me

 

Yea their pretty sick cars for the size, and silverstang youd get walked by one if your talking about the car in your sig, nice death btw

 

yeah i remember looking at their specs and they were pretty good for a 300C

 

I am pretty sure a 300 would take a npi sn95, the ones I have seen at the track are mid-low 14's, but the srt's are supposed to be very fast....respectable loss

 

yeah that's what i was figuring, 300C has 300+ hp compared to my 230ish, i know i'd take him off the line, maybe in something like the 1/8th

 

SRT8 are some bad mamma jammas. I was in my friends focus (I carpool to work) and we were getting on to the 405 when a black srt8 came roaring past us. Sickest exhaust I have ever heard on that car.

 

the srt 8's are unbelievably fast i can beat the 300c in my mach but not the 8's

 

Race them from a dig only!!!A Mach1 or S197 stands a much better chance & can win if there is a good driver mod in the seat!Been there,done that on numerous ocassions.Now from a 30mph roll you better be heavily modded!

 

yesterday an srt-8 300c was running 9.4s all ay on 1/8 mile. that was sad!
