LT1's by me run high 14's at the track, I guess it's driver more than anything then or it has a ****load of miles...

 

a stock LT1 usually runs very low 14s ....if the 5.0 was a 5spd, i'd say it's a good race, but not with the crappy ford automatic.

hey i got an idea race him and then tell us so we know for sure!!!... the lt1 is faster but it doesnt mean he will win.... there not really ez to lanch.... so if his stock with you mods all u need to do is out drive him

 

Well driven, mostly stockLT1 f-bodies around here run low 15's.

 

They are auto's, you hold the steering wheel straight, and hit the gas[8D]

 

When I had my 94 LT1 Camaro,I ran a best of 14.3/98 1/4 mile.I would say the f-body should beat the lightly modded fox Mustang.

 

a v6 stang vs. a v6 camaro. thats actually a pretty good race right there, but sorry to say a lightly modded stang would woop on a bone stock camaro.

 

I never understood those threads, why do you have to know if you are going to win or not? You have an idea of how fast your car is down the 1320, everyone knows how a stock LT1 performs down the 1320, so if you think you can beat an LT1 then go race one, and if you lose you will then know the answer to your question
