Default my highspeed run

it was around 1 last night and I had asked my friend if he would drive ahead on 287 S where there is this perfectly straight section w/ a slight down grade for about 1 mile and no cops hide there b/c theres just no where for them to sit ...but just to b safe I had him drive way ahead and make sure that everything was good to go.. then once I got his call that everything was good I downshifted .....at the end of 4th at 120 or so I shifted into 5th...I was so surprised how fast my needle was moving... maybe b/c it was a slight downgrade but either way the faster I was goin the harder it pulled 135mph came up pretty fast I was thinking about shutting down then but decided 2 hit 140 which I did and then shut down...my goal was 2 hit 150 but didnt bring my ***** w/ me obvisiously lol...

I'm surprised how stable my car felt at those speeds...I've heard that they usually feel very light but it felt like I was cutting thro like an arrow (its the only way I can explain) Idk when I would run out of gear but if my car kept on pulling like it did I prolly could have hit 150+ but I'll save that for another night....

Naw, i think those 3.73's will pull to 150. I was going to the local dyno with OB, and i hit 150. My needle was pegged. even lowered 2 inches, she felt weary at thos speeds. I'll never do it again. But yeah it was fun.

on a downgrade your car's gonna get more downforce thats why it felt more stable than expected

My speedo is pretty accurate. I set it to what my VSS puts out on the WDS. Its always dead on when doing through those speed counters on the side of the road. But i really doubt it is accurate at speeds above 120. I was almost at redline at 150. It doesnt have any pull what so ever at high speeds. I didnt hit 150 in a short amount of space i'll tell you that. Next time i go to the dyno, i'll take a picture with my camera phone.

Great run! It is hard to believe when you go that fast. I'm 44 and I still get chills when I go that fast.
