so i was heading home after a all night casino fest, at 5 am, tired as hell, allegedly speeding, actually my citation was for "unsafe speeding" and window tint( which was the worst part, i have double limo), i was going 55 in a 30, is that ticket worse then a normal ticket anybody know, how much its gonna cost me and if i have any chnace of gettting out of it? im gonna fight the ****, cause the speed limit changes on the street like crazy from 30 - 40, so hopefully i can at least reduce it to just speeding. i just wanna know how bad a unsafe speeding ticket is compared to a speeding ticket and how much it will cost if anybody knows.

 

never heard of that ticket, but that sucks dude, I got a window tint violation too (5%) cops are ALL asses by me and i hate em. hope the ticket isn't too much, slash the po's tires at night.

Just hire a lawyer, but don't pay more than $350. They should be able to get it dropped down to improper equipment (go figure) which is no points in any state, but at the least get it reduced down to 9 over and the window tint ticket dropped, that's a bogus one, although they'll probably require you to remove it.

he does'nt need to go to jail, just not get caught. use a .22 caliber rifle with a 20" barrel and CB (powder free) rounds from about 200ft and no one will be the wiser.

I've never heard of that ticket. I had one that the cop wrote me for "Exceeding the posted limit" but never actually got it on the radar gun. I faxed it to my lawyer, he made a call to the county clerk and I had my license back in 3 days, with no fine. Apparently, they have to actually have a speed you were going.

And I'm with Dan on this one. You were speeding and got caught. Why is the cop a dick? He was just doing his job.

Yeah, i just went to court today myself. Didnt hire a lawyer. Waste of time and money. I did 39 over, paid 300 big bucks, and now have to take a safe drivers course. It was 300 bucks and 30 loss of licence. BUT. i told the proc. there was no way im loosing my licence. So i talked the the judge, not only was she hott, but wicked cool. And understood whyu i needed my licence.
